Managing Editors
Our Managing Editors maintain the daily activities of a publication plan (journal articles, abstracts, posters) and work closely with Medical Writers, Medical Directors, and Account Managers. They establish and maintain relationships with clients and authors, review content for proper messaging and positioning, manage timelines, and ensure accuracy of content on a daily basis. Ideal candidates must have medical editing experience across all types of publications (primary and review articles, abstracts, posters) and slide presentations. As the editorial lead on any project, Managing Editors are responsible for guiding team members through content creation and submission processes.
Managing Editors should have a BA/BS, 5+ years of experience in medical communications or publishing, familiarity with journal and congress submission processes, knowledge of AMA style, and proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Reference Manager.
